The guide has handy hints about the key steps involved in lesson study, alongside some useful links to relevant content and features from the IRIS Connect platform that can enhance the process of lesson study.  A blog about lesson study written by Bridget Clay, National Teacher Enquiry Network Support Officer of the Teacher Development Trust can be read here

We, as a school, are heavily involved with the work of the Teacher Development Trust. Our commitment to lesson study as a tool for Continuing Professional Learning that leads to sustainable school improvement can be seen by the number of colleagues who have been involved in this process in the last academic year.  Some of their findings can be reviewed here.  The use of IRIS Connect technology has been growing amongst colleagues and many have made use of it as apart of their lesson study process.  If you are involved, or are planning to be involved, in Lesson Study as a part of your Continuing Professional Learning in the year ahead it is really worth downloading the guide from the link above.  Once you have completed your study please don’t forget to share your findings for the benefit of others!
